Castello di Torrechiara
Enchanting love nest designed by the noble Pier Maria Rossi in the middle of the 15th century to show his love for Bianca Pellegrini and superb setting for the movie of Captain Navarre’s “Lady Hawke”, the castle of Torrechiara, lying on sweet hills embroidered with vineyards is an appearance of incredible suggestion for those who from Parma go back to the ancient "Ham valley" and a pearl of rare artistic value, perfect union between the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. It is considered one of the most remarkable, scenographic and best preserved castles of Italy; listed as Italian National Monument from 1911.
